Fleu gas silencer

In the field of flue gas silencers, Merford offers the Rs-rg standard series. These silencers work on the principle of absorption, whereby the gases flow past high-quality, heat-resistant and sound-absorbing mineral wool that is protected by a perforated lining.


Specific properties of these silencers:

  • The RS-rg silencers are designed for heavy-duty industrial applications; in particular, the
    exhausts of boilers etc.
  • Thanks to the 100% net passage, this silencer exerts zero counter pressure, which means it
    does not affect the efficiency of the boiler.
  • The silencers are fireproof; the absorption material is non-flammable.
  • Thanks to its long-fibred structure and the perforated inner lining, the absorption material is
    protected against erosion at air speeds of up to 50 m/s.
  • Maximum application temperature: 600 ¢ªC.
